About Us
People’s Social Services is rooted in lived experience, cultural understanding, and a deep commitment to helping Rhode Islanders access the resources they deserve.
Founded by Kenya Fullen, a longtime social worker and community health worker, we focus on practical support that helps people move toward stability, self-sufficiency, and confidence.
Who We Are
MEET KENYA FULLEN
Born and raised in Providence, Kenya grew up in a tight-knit community that helped shape her values. With a background in Human Development and Community Development, and years of experience working for the State of Rhode Island, she created People’s Social Services to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Her work is grounded in empathy, follow-through, and the belief that with the right tools, people can thrive. Kenya brings a calm, clear, and hands-on approach—supporting clients with everything from filling out forms to showing up with them at appointments. She believes that real support isn’t just paperwork—it’s presence, patience, and persistence.
